The Groot Ultimate Club started in 2014 with a focus on developing younger talent within Auckland. Aimed at high school and university students without a clear playing pathway, the Club is about turning good people into great players. We are Groot.
Magon
Magon has a proud history of success since its inception in 2009 with the purpose of raising the bar of NZ Open Ultimate. It has forged a strong work ethic of discipline, focus and spirit, and is expanding to assist in cultivating the development of young talent across Auckland Ultimate.

Blueberries
Blueberries is a young team formed in 2015. We are a group of friends into playing fast paced, competitive ultimate and having a lot of fun along the way! Comprised of players from across the country, our team has a strong focus on maintaining a high standard of play as well as developing newer high potential players. We have a work hard party hard ethic during the season with high intensity trainings and plenty of dumpling and social nights sprinkled in! Zodiac
Zodiac was started in 2014 by a group of community members who saw a gap in the Auckland Ultimate scene – a youth-focused squad offering opportunities for all levels to develop as players.
We will enter teams into social leagues, competitive leagues, competitive tournaments (such as Twin Harbour Classic) and those looking for an elite level of play can trial for the team to play at NZ Ultimate Championships.
Zodiac this year will focus on three core ideas: commitment, teamwork, and growth.
